What is a lab grown diamond?
It is a diamond grown in a lab instead of being mined. The process copies the heat and pressure that form diamonds underground, so the result is the same material, not an imitation. It is carbon, it scores 10 on the hardness scale, and it behaves like any other diamond.
Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. They are chemically and optically the same as mined diamonds, and they are graded by the same laboratories on the same scales. A standard diamond tester reads them as diamond. Only specialist lab equipment can tell the two apart, which is what the IGI or GIA certificate records.
Where can I buy a lab diamond in Malaysia?

Are lab grown diamonds cheaper than mined diamonds?
Yes, for the same size and grade. How much depends on the stone, so the honest way to judge it is by what you can actually buy. At BEON Diamond, engagement rings start at RM5,500, necklaces at RM3,100 and bracelets at RM5,900, all with certified stones.
Do you sell platinum jewellery?
Yes. Our platinum jewellery collection is a range of diamond ear studs, set in platinum and priced from RM1,900. Ring settings across the site are 18K gold in white, rose and yellow.
Can I have a piece made to my own design?
Yes. We offer a customisation service for bespoke pieces and for changes to existing designs. Tell us what you have in mind and we will talk through the stone, the metal and the budget before anything is committed.
